1668 (?), in Eastham, MA. He married Mary Tilson, daughter of Edmund Tilson and

DUNHAM and ELIZABETH TILSON
"Benajah
and Elizabeth (Tilson) Dunham moved from Plymouth to Eastham, Massachusetts
following their marriage at Plymouth on 25 October 1660. At Eastham he was
admitted freeman in 1664 and was court officer in 1669. In 1671 they sold their
land at Eastham and joined the migration of many of the Plymouth families to
East New Jersey, where they settled at Piscataway in Middlesex County [near New
Brunswick]. He purchased more than 100 acres in Piscataway in 1672. In 1673 and
following he was Captain of Militia. Benajah Dunham died at the age of 40 years,
having written his will on 10 May 1679, proved in the Middlesex Court 12 August
1680. Elizabeth (Tilson) Dunham died at Piscataway within four years following
her husband's death. Of their seven children, whose births are recorded at
Eastham, Massachusetts, and Piscataway, New Jersey, only three were living at
the time of Benajah Dunham's death in 1680."
Benajah
and Elizabeth Tilson were married on the same date given for the marriage of
his brother Benjamin to Mary Tilson. Were Elizabeth and Mary related? Were they
both daughters of Edmund of Plymouth? ). Born, 1640, in Plymouth, MA. Died, 24
Dec 1680, in Piscataway, NJ. Occupation: Farmer. He married Elizabeth Tilson, daughter
of Edmund Tilson and Joane\Jane ( Tilson, 25 Oct 1660, in Plymouth ,MA.
